I have made a few changes to my music video, mostly these are due to suggestions in my audience feedback. The first is a change to the kaleidiscope section at around 30 seconds. Originally this section was coloured naturally or in other words I hadn't edited the colours. But in my focus group a few respondents said that the section seemed quit colourless. For this reason I have altered the colour of the kaleidoscopes using the Colour Balance (HLS) effect in Premiere Pro. I have changed the hue of each clip in different variations.
Another comment that a lot of respondents made about my music video is that the bunk kaleidoscope at the end is too legible and too confusing. I think this is because of the fact that the word is mirrored so many times that is can only be read in one sixteenth of the screen. Also the stylistic way in with the work is written is hard to read by itself let alone when it is moving on screen and especially if one has not heard of bunk (Jackal's DJ collective) before.
For these reasons I decided to replace the word bunk with the sketch of the Jackal that is on the front cover of the digipak. I thought this would be more noticeable and clear but also it is a good link to make between my main product and ancillary texts.
