Possible Digipak Front Covers
This first possible digipak front cover was inspired by the part of my music video which features the circular audio spectrum and the lyrics on the screen. I thought I would try this as an option for my front cover because it would be a good link to make between the video and digipak, especially as the word 'Static.' appears in the same font inside the audio spectrum. However, this design does not look very good to me. I have stuck to my original plan including no text other than the album title and I think this is the problem with this front cover; it is too empty.
Continuing with the circle theme I designed this second version of the album cover. I had the photograph in mind when designing my flatplan. The photograph was taken using a rainbow lens filter (which I tested in my pre-production research). I think this version looks more interesting than the audio spectrum version but the rainbows don't quite match the black and white scheme of the circle and title,
The final two possible front covers feature the graphic of a jackal which I drew and edited on the computer. The difference between the two is that one graphic is mostly black, the other is inverted and mostly white. These front covers are the most successful, I think, because they contain the graphic of the jackal which will create the album's brand identity. I just need to decide which I prefer.

Digipak Flatplan
This is an extremely rough flatplan for my digipak (excuse the terrible penmanship). It represents the initial thoughts I am having on my digipak design. It is also a way of fabricating a physical version of my thoughts. Hover for annotations.
